What is Science Glass?
Scientists currently lack a centralized location where short and simple presentations of their work are accessible to anyone with an internet connection. Similarly, people curious about science do not have an easy way to find out what real scientists are doing and why. Enter Science Glass; an online platform where scientists explain their research to a broad audience.
Videos are presented primarily by real undergraduate and graduate student scientists who are excited about sharing their research and why it’s important. Topics covered range from human health research, to ecology, to applied math.
Presentations are based on a transparent whiteboard paired with a video capture system, which helps the viewer connect with the presenter by directly viewing both the speaker’s face and their presentation at the same time.
